Conversation That Matters
Central to CHICAT’s mission is the elevation of our communities through ongoing intelligent neighborhood discussions known as the Future Maker series. Offered quarterly, these symposia seek to question our ever-changing world and the effects innovation implicates on our culture, particularly on the work sectors our adult and youth programs intersect.
Panels draw from experts in their fields and are hosted at the Chicago Center for Arts and Technology. Topics include the future of work in the age of globalization and robotics; the efficacy and implications of nanotechnology and biochemistry on the healthcare industry and entrepreneurship; and the importance of digital design for low-income communities.
